33 posts · Joined 2009. #1 · Mar 22, 2009. so i decided to change the headlight bulb on my patriot last night. i went out and got me one of the aftermarket headlight which is the super white ones. i tried to hook em up to the patriot, but i found out that there was only one headlight workin. i thought that the bulb might be bad or something ...only the one under the hood,but it is well explained in your manual. the relay box is under the left weel well plastic cover,towards the front end,fitted to the chassis. you get to it by removing the cover as you would do to change the left turn signal bulb, there are six or eight relays there. one of them is the one you are looking for.My 2011 Patriot has an annoyance: When I go to tap the horn button to give a friendly beep, say-- to get someone's attention to wave at them-- the horn gives a 1 second long honk instead.
