Inferium seeds.
Made a whole garden cloche farm for inferium seeds, but they don't seem to work properly. Growing pumpkins fine, but won't work with inferium. Am I missing something? Are the mods incompatible? Figured it'd work since the seeds go in the slot. Edit: Modpack is FTB Endeavor 1.8. What's the modpack?

There is the plant sower and an other machine I'm forgetting the name (it used to be the plant interactor in 1.12, but I'm fairly sure the name changed). Normally with those two machine and the right farmland, you can automate the inferium. Use a garden cloche from immersive engineering.It isnt supposed to be easy to get super seeds, it takes time. Ofc there are ways to speed it up, like Agricraft sprinklers (they stack the effect), or growth accelerators (also stack) and watering cans. The Inferium Seeds (Tier 5) is a tier 5 seed added by Mystical Agriculture. The plant drops 5 Inferium Essence which is used in crafting many of the recipes in the mod. It also has a small chance of dropping an extra seed.Acceleration Wand boosts/accelerates the work done by the Tier 3 Growth Crystal, the transparent looking block in the middle. Dropped Inferium Essence is harvested by Item Collector to a Compacting Drawer. Essence is then transferred to a Mechanical Crafter which crafts it to higher essences and so on and so forth.
Inferium Essence is a component added by Mystical Agriculture. It is used to craft higher-tiered Essences and the first tier of seeds, materials and machines. It can also be acquired from harvesting or reprocessing Inferium Plants, mining Inferium Ore, or dropped from mobs (20% by default). You can use Watering Cans to increase the speed of crop growth manually. Watering Cans are filled by right-clicking on a Water block. To use the Watering Can, just hold right click on some plants.
Are you sure they are inferium seeds and not crafting seeds? I've seen a few people try planting crafting seeds instead of inferium seeds. Which pack are you playing and does it have agricraft? If so you'll have to use crop sticks. If not than, I'm honestly not sure why it's not working. The tiers are just powers of 4 so they go 1, 4, 16, 64... but 64 = 1 stack, so instead of making the math harder by continuing to do 64 x 4 x 4 etc, just switch to 1 stack, 4 stack, 16 stack. That keeps the numbers low enough to do in your head and it's a lot easier to count 16 full stacks than it is to count that you have 1024 inferium.It is fairly cheap, it just requires a lot of power, but I got supremium armor within like 2 hours of starting deep mob learning, and most of the time was waiting for the simulation. If I recall correctly killing a wither nets you several of the top tier essence. Deep Mob Learning will by far be the fastest.Upgrade the sieves as soon as possible, and make a tc smeltery, then start immersive engineering as soon as possible. It is the fastest way to move forward. On regular tilted grass just right click it with the essence you want to upgrade it with. The higher the essence tier you use on the soil, the more yield chances you have. There's a few things you need to do but it's 100% worth it. In ATM6 there's a mod called pedestals, you'll need to craft a pedestal and a fertiliser upgrade (I think it's called that) and then I'd recommend enchanting it to increase its range.
