Given that Magus's only get 4 spell slots to use for Spellstrikes, missing and wasting the slot is massive. Critically failing your attack role is probably only going to happen if you role a Nat 1.

Honestly, just wait until Magus comes out before trying a build like this. There's a pretty decent chance we're getting something along the lines of a Staff Magus as a feat-line or subclass option which will open up a lot of options for building. (Plus they're going to have spells so there's no real need to Multiclass)

Turn 1 cast spell/spellstrike -> enter arcane cascading rest of combat -> dual wielding attacks Since a Magus has so few spell slots that might work if you only want 1 spell/spellstrike per combat.
