According burn rate charts, some have Accurate 1680 closer to the 4227s than the 4198s, while others have it closer to the 4198s than the 4227s. I love RL7 for all the same reason's Starrbow mentioned, but H4198 is a real good one as well. H322 has a very good following and is very accurate. I really haven't found a bad powder in my 45-70 yet.. Good thing is everything that works in the 45-70, will work excellent with the 444 Marlin you'll eventually have to have! HA! Good luck.
