Prospector will only 'sometimes' be able to scan asteroids. There are a few supposed work-arounds out there, but some of them can break the game enough you have to restart. When scanning from the ship, you will not get a ping "blue box" on a ROC minables until about 2k from the deposit. The large ores will hit at 5k or greater distance. You have to manually set the key binds. When you set a key bind it should say button 1, input 2 or something like that. The default keybinds for joystick axis in SC are: • Pitch on "Y" axis. • Yaw on "X" axis. • Roll on "Z" axis (twist on joystick) I do not like this and prefer Roll to be on "X" axis and Yaw to be on "Z" (twist) axis. The problem is, when I rebind Yaw to the "Z" (twist) axis and Roll to the "X" axis the movements are not accurate.
