That’s a valid point but at 200 per year the 7000 repair is break even at paying it for 35 years. I own two houses. One built in 1946. Sewer line was replaced in 1998, water main replaced in 2000. The other house was built in 1968. Sewer line replaced in 2018. I re plumbed the whole house and replaced the water main while I was at it in 2006.
