The only time I wished for more power than the 550F was this last winter. The snow was very deep. It is nimble, yet certain on its two skis and track. It is a nearly perfect mountain snowmobile as we’ve ridden to date. I would like to throw a couple springs in though, as this really helped my 900NA. It currently jumps to 7500rpm and creeps to 7600 after WOT for 20-30 seconds with the 1.6 ice cobra track on it. There has been a number of guys on here that have said there isn't a noticeable difference between Gen 4 & Gen 5 in the trail models. I think the Gen 5 in the Summit and Freeride is where there has been significant improvements. I have seen a lot of good reviews of the Gen 5 in the Deep Snow.
