They hit the leaf springs near full lock and very seldom hit the body. Functionally, more tire and less rim is better in terms of performance. Its not like a 20 is a small rim! Especially for the cost. I have 37s with 3.73 gearing as well and that's pretty much the exact mileage I see. I hand calculate each tank and it's usually right around 13.9 everytime. Twice I've seen 15.3 but that was all highway zero stop and go traffic.The 6.2 with 3.73s will be a dog, I'm willing to bet even with 4.30s. Yes, you'll need to move up to about a 4.30 gear to have the same drivability. I have a 2017 F250 6.2L 3.73 with the 275/70r18 tires. Those tires are basically 33's and it does just fine, but you would definitely want a steeper gear with 37's.My 6.5 lift and 37" tire rub under heavey wheeling. They do rub on full turn on the leafsprings but that's because the are 14" wide. I beleive if I had 12 or 12.5 wide they wouldn't rub on the leafsprings. Because the axle rating is extremely conservative on an F250 and certainly more capable than what is listed on the cab sticker. I think your year model has the exact same rear axle as an F350 SRW. The F350 has better springs with a much higher GAWR. I think about 7000+. Springs, excepted, it is the same differential.
