The franchi is a clone to the benelli m2 field. With the shim kits that come with both shotguns fit the gun to the user has never been more versatile. I personally would go with the franchi, both guns will get the job done. But the franchi to me feels like a better fit for me.

In my opinion, while the Affinity is a good gun, the Benelli M2 is a better gun. The stock on the Affinity feels like cheap plastic to me. The grip-tight stock on the M2 is much better for duck hunting. As you said, you have an itch for a Benelli.

The Affinity is built by Benelli in the same plant. Looks and feels a bit like the Benelli M2, but the recoil spring is in the forearm and not the stock. With the Affinity's super long receiver, it has a longer sight plane than my 28" Remington 1100 LT-20. Can't say enough good things about the new Franchi Affinity.
