[CLASS BUILD] Lodefens - Wild Orlan Paladin - Shieldbearer of St. Elcga This is a standard paladin built on achieving highest deflection possible. In the beginnig there was no way to progress with MAX Resolve, so i went for an offensive build until Act II, then I put all in RES.
Multiclassing in this game is really great, especially among melee classes. Like, having played it through now three times, I cannot imagine any reason to take a Paladin as a pure class. They are simply so much stronger, even from the beginning, with some tools from another class. #3. Resolve is good for frontliner and to avoid debuffs. But if your paladin isn't the main character absorbing damage, than you can live with a bit lowered res too. Paladins have the option to get plenty of armor, so deflection could be seen as less mandatory depending on what way you wana go with it. 3. In practical terms, all Paladin builds like high might and high intellect for Sacred Immolation, big aura range, long exhortation, big FoD hits. Dex is not really greatly valued because not much of the Paladin's overall output, both in terms of support and damage, comes from autoattacks.
