Tundra 4lo light flashing.

Feb 11, 2022 · Got my truck back and the check engine and 4LO were no longer illuminated but the traction control still was. Then all of a sudden this morning the other two were back. Could really use some advice if anyone could help diagnose. The only scan code that came up was PO420 which is the "Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold". 4lo light flashing HELP!!!!! Dec 25, 2018 · I have a 2010 Toyota Tundra base model. I have been having an issue with my truck the last couple weeks where the 4 hi and 4 lo lights come on and blink while the ABS and Traction Control light stay solid. Seems to be a common issue but cannot pinpoint a solution.

That ECU issue would make sense because the 4LO button doesn't even feel like a button anymore. So something is keeping that from thinking it's in 4WD. I should clarify; that 4LO button is non-functional and feels the same whether the 4WD light is blinking or solid.

Left work and as soon as I turned the truck on these lights were on and the 4LO light was blinking the entire time I drove. I've used 4-high a few times. Today, I needed 4-low. I was in 4-high. It was working fine. When I turned the switch to 4 low while in neutral, the light on the dash just blinked rapidly. It wouldn't switch to 4 low. To complicate it, these lights come on together at the same time but a lot less frequently: 4Lo (flashing) and Check Engine (solid). When I had the 2WD/4HI/4LO switch slightly past the 2WD part, it was flashing the 4HI and 4LO lights. I'm guessing it was a limp mode. Was at that time in 2WD.
