Lcp vs glock 42.
The 42 is almost like shooting a .22lr compared to the recoil of the smaller LCP, but since my only real accuracy issue is along the vertical axis and that only an inch or so at 7 yards. Therefore, I'm keeping the LCP Max. I also had the opportunity to fire a Hellcat in 9mm, which is only a little bit bigger than the LCP, but a bit heavier.

The 43 will be much cheaper to shoot.Ruger LCP: this seems to be the go to pocket gun. I draw it slower out of the pocket because it is shorter in length and height making it a deeper draw from the pocket than say the G42. But some of my best groups are from the LCP, maybe because of the fixed sites vs the sites that have been moved on the other range guns.

The Glock 27 on your hip delivers 180 grain JHPs at almost exactly the same speed as the Glock 42 delivers 90 grain JHPs - roughly 900-950 FPS. I have a hard time recommending 160-190 foot pounds from a .380 when the 9mm is almost double and the .40 is double or more from a subcompact.
In spite of those dimensions, the Glock seems better balanced and actually feels lighter than the Ruger. G42 = 6+ 1 Snubbie = 5 rounds. Snubbie reload slow auto reload much quicker . I guess it all comes down to caliber 380 vs 38 spec.
