You might also check the TCM (Transmission Control Module) It can be reset by taking it out for a while and putting it back in. It might also be burned out from the battery mix up.It should be "hot" on both sides. If it is not, replace the fuse. If it blows more than once, it's likely that your 300's wiring harness has been damaged on the way to the brake lights. Make sure to put the same size fuse back in. 2.
