Theres a few bugs with the create a kingdom quest. Theres a mod to bypass this. No mercenaries cant own fiefs. To leave a kingdom as a vassal and keep your fief press k top right is leave kingdom. Nov 26, 2021 · Kingdoms do not declare war on independent clans. But you can initiate war with a kingdom simply by attacking one of its lords or a caravan or its villagers. Once a state of war exists, you can besiege a castle or town. If you are an independent clan, you do not have access to the Kingdom tab, so you cannot use normal diplomacy to sue for peace. Generally from what I've seen, you have to do quests for them to raise relationship levels.
