I spent some time jumping seeds for frost caves and collecting fenris hair from caves since I had explored most of the mountains in my main seed pre-patch. I would encounter one of these out of every 5 or 6 caves I explored. Pretty cool addition imo, but I stopped exploring them since I don’t need crystals or fishing supplies anymore

Ulvs don't drop anything but claws and trophies. From what I've heard, 10 caves seems to be the median for completing the set, so 15 is definitely unlucky. I've definitely swept a couple mountains without finding enough fenris hair for an armor piece. I've also found 40+ in the same cave too. I must be fortunate.
