It was warm today so I had a look underneath. Everything appeared tight, jacked it up and the bearing felt good etc.

Finally got under the car and swapped the shocks. When testing for the noise it wasn't coming from the rear suspension area but from the quarter panel. In June I replaced the pads and rotors on my CVR. Everything was fine until this week when I started hearing a grinding and squeaking from the rear. Braking makes the noise worse. The pads and rotors all seem on good shape. Parking brake is off.

The noise on the rear sounds like a drone or humming with a cyclical pattern at speeds above 40 mph. It changes with speed but braking, turning, accelerating has no effect. There is no squealing or growling noise, just humming. Now, I have to figure out from which wheel the noise is coming from and if it is a bad wheel hub or CV joint.
