Go to etrailer.com and look at the diagram for the 7 way connector and it will show you the correct circuits for turn signal, brakes, aux and park/running lights. Get a cheap voltmeter and go test the circuits. It does it both ways, Always stays on> With and without the trailer on.

Easy way to test is check with a meter for 12 volts on the post I have circled red in the image below. If not replace the fuse I drew a square around and recheck for 12 volts. They replaced it and power bled the front brakes. No problems now. The sensor part number is 1 15838718 if that helps anybody. Probably not a big deal to fix yourself if you can find the sensor. I see the one plug with wires on the master but I'm assuming that's the brake lights.

The trailer brake controller uses the same sensors as the ABS. When you have a ABS light you will always have a trailer brake light. The trailer brakes will still work but, you will lose some of the features depending on the failure. Disregred everything in these postings until the ABS is fixed..
