I used the questions in the back, but even that was sorta a waste of time. If you know how to analyze then your time is better spent with actual AAMC questions. I used the behavioral science to review, but the 300 pg doc is the key imo. I swear the Kaplan CARS book was written from the perspective of an alien who doesn't know how humans read.
The 300 page P/S document absolutely SUCKS. I'm really sorry. I'm grateful to whoever took the time to create this document, but there are so many typos. SO MANY. The sentences are incoherent. I've heard so many people say to toss the Kaplan book for P/S because it just simply doesn't go as in depth as you need it to be. Trust the KA document and the videos, they really are superior to the Kaplan book. It may not seem like a 100 or 300 page document that has intermittent typos can be a better source of information than an official MCAT prep book, but trust me it really is. The problem is the Kaplan book only has some of what you need to know for P/S plus extraneous stuff. The 300 page doc is better because the P/S stuff chosen by AAMC is rather arbitrary and isn't necessarily what you'd expect to find, but that's what they've deemed fair game. FWIW, JS has BOTH the 300pg doc and stuff from the Kaplan book.
