57 Posts. I took the NCLEX- RN & the computer stopped at 78 or 79 Q. I had 15 SATA, no calculations, couple of meds I haven't even heard of. What are your thoughts & your results please. Thanks... Sep 10, 2019 · If after answering only 75 questions your performance is adequate to prove that you’re competent, the test will shut off. The same works for poor performance. Receiving only 75 test questions does not necessarily ensure a passing score. Many who take the NCLEX receive more questions than 75. If you do too, don’t worry. I completed 75 questions a day and studied for 2 - 4 hours for 5-6 days a week for 6- 7 weeks. I watch simple nursing and also hand wrote some pharm notes. In addition, I kind of used RN mastery app to practice some question from that app. I also did my incorrect questions over a few weeks to see if I was retaining the content. Hope that helps!
