The Act 5 Merc opens a lot of possibilities simply due to dual wielding 1h swords. You can go 2x Last Wish which actually stacks up to level 34 Might Aura. You can go Kingslayer+Last Wish which can clear ubers as shown in the vid. You can alternatively go Grief + Last Wish for speedfarming.

The Act 5 Merc does struggle with chance to hit%, and IAS does play a role as well (albeit not a huge one due to Frenzy's very low IAS breakpoints when fully activated). The reason that Headstriker is #1 is because of the unique damage calculation used for Act 5 Merc's using one handed weapons.
