12 posts · Joined 2014. #25 · Apr 3, 2014. I had this issue on my Durango with 14 miles on it. Turned out under the shifter assembly and center console, there are dual ground eyelets. Mine were not tightend to spec. Tech put on a scanner, with in 1 hour had the issue solved and tightend the eyelets to the ground bolt.

Tried again and it started but had the service electronic stability control message on dash and was stuck in low gear also. Tried restarting several times but nothing changed. I was still in my neighborhood so I came back home and disconnected positive lead on battery for couple minutes.
