How to turn off interior lights in ford explorer.
I've encountered a new problem. My Dash lights aren't working. All the indicators are working, like turn signals and bright light indicator, but the lights that are suppose to light up the dash and the hvac controls aren't working. I'm thinking it has something to do with the switch perhaps. I'm going out to check fuses, maybe it's that simple.

From what I have researched it is likely a shorted ground.Just remember to pop the latch again before trying to close the hatch. If you get there 10 minutes early, there's always this: Battery saver. I have resorted to pulling the time delay relay in the fuse box, also turning the light dimmer all the way down to off, both are a pain to do.Next to the light switch there should be a rolling switch that controls the interior lights that will dim the dash lights and set to the interior lights to constant on until the automatic feature turns them off.
