Yes too high and too angled, on the TV stand would be perfect so you view the TV head on at head height, tilting the TV shifts the colours. Even just 5° throws the colours off as you aren't looking at the LEDs straight on. The TV can be angled to reduce glare from other light sources. As for the second part. Use the lower seat when using the fireplace. Use the upper seat when using the TV you've mounted over the fireplace. Amazing! You can actually buy something like this too!
