Sbc intake torque specs aluminum heads.
I am going to clean up the threads and see what happens but wanted to know how much torque can the threads handle. I do not want to remove intake and all the other stuff. Call me a lazy. Retorqued at 11 ft lbs the motor idles at 1400rpm, obviously an intake leak. If retorqued to 30 ft lbs will stop intake leak maybe.

I'm using ARP bolts for the manifold, and ARP studs for the headers. ARP says 39ft lbs, but I once stripped out a thread (P.I.T.A.) at 30ft lbs, so im definately wary of doing that again.
