Try to build a 4x5 large bedroom one at a time for each survivors by day 15-20 and the survivors wont have any meltdown at all. Another tip is when an aggressive animal message show-up, you have 6 hours till the actual attack. Start recall all survivors, make them eat, relax, and go to bed.
