If it was intermitent the flashing doesn't come back the failure was intermitent. However this shouldn't lock the gearshift out of the forward gears. It appears that it was ONLY the 3rd gear pressure switch. No more flashing "D" coming back so far and it appears to be shifting fine. Oil light comes on flashing first at idle after a good 20 mi drive. No rough idle, no more new noises like not enough oil on moving parts. Then in park after flashing oil light, a solid light. Checked oil and its full, with clear fluid and new filter two weeks ago.
