Glock will obviously have a heavy following for obvious and legitimate reasons. I can only speak from personal experience, but I was down to a Glock, M&P and a XD 9. I've never for one second regretting going with the XD. Had the chance to shoot them all side by side after the fact and that only further solidified my happiness.The 19 holds more rounds. I've had the Springfield XD sub 9mm, a Glock 26 and 19. The biggest problem with the 26 is the lack of said a rail (why that's the case is beyond me; it would easily fit), which the XD has.
