How do you open the trunk on a chevy cruze.
Last weekend I checked and it slipped. I figured that is probably what would happen the one time my trunk decides it won't open and of course my golf clubs or crates of diamonds will be in there. I understand the in-the-trunk release; when you buy something long you can open the trunk, pull the handle, slide it right in without opening other doors.

When I press the lock button the lights blink but the door doesn’t lock and it doesnt make the horn sound. I did replace the battery in key fob, as it displayed on my dashboard to change battery.

An the other day, it wouldn't open with the keys in the ignition. The legacy doesn't even show any visible sign or warning light that the trunk is even open till I hit a bump hard enough. I doubt the RS/Eco lip weigh enough to play a great enough factor.

I have a 2012 Chevy Cruz and the trunk was opening daily as in I would go out and shut it at least 4 times in an 8 hour work day. I took it in and the Dealership replaced a part in it and said it was covered under warranty as the Cruz's were known for this. You couldn't open it with the button under the trunk, you had to use the FOB.
