Its probably just heavily corroded. You may need to pry it off being careful not to crack your tiles. You might need to put a 2 x 4 or similar against the tile and then gingerly using a pry bar try to remove it. But it still must be attached somehow. I went to replace the cartridge in the handle and found that there is no cap with screw underneath or hole for an Allen screw. In fact, there seems to be no way to remove the handle at all, and I am hesitant to try pulling it off for fear of really damaging it. Can anyone help?
